SterlingOSB Zero caters for cycling themed chain

A cycling themed pop up café, Velo Life, has been decked out in sturdy and stylish SterlingOSB Zero.

Lee Goodwin expanded his Henley-on-Thames bicycle repair shop into the old pub next door to create a much-welcomed café for weary cyclists. Spurred on by the café’s success, Lee has now opened a pop-up café in Maidenhead.

Taking inspiration from a brown cardboard takeaway carton, Lee needed a material that echoed his vision. Lee explained “SterlingOSB Zero was the ideal choice – the brown panels are full of character and aesthetically pleasing, offering great texture and tone that could be used everywhere!”

The popular material was used on the walls, on the bar, for the outdoor signs, across the tables and even for a few benches. Lee commented, “The reason we chose SterlingOSB Zero for the pop-up is because it can be painted or used raw and looks great! It’s easy to work with, is extremely high quality and wears really well in high impact areas.  It was everything we were looking for.”
