Get to know…Miso Petrovic

Miso Petrovic, Business Development Manager

Today we’re getting to know one of our newest additions to the sales and marketing team – Business Development Manager for the West Midlands, North Wales and the North West, Miso Petrovic. 

Having spent just six weeks with the West Fraser team, Miso is certain he made the right choice!  “I realised during my interviews that I really wanted to work for West Fraser!  Sanj (Sanjit Dosanjh, National Sales Manager) and Dom (Dom West, Sales Director, UK & Ireland) were so friendly and really showed an interest in getting to know me.  I felt their enthusiasm was a really good indicator that West Fraser is a company that will encourage my development.  And so far, I’ve not been wrong!  While I’ve been finding my feet I’ve felt really supported.  Sanj is always there for the team and makes sure we have everything we need to do our best work”, says Miso.

Miso’s pre-West Fraser career saw him working in sales roles at BGN Boards and International Decorative Surfaces and then a couple of years at another wood panel company as a regional sales manager.  As Miso says “I was already aware of West Fraser and knew how highly regarded the company is in the industry.  Now that I am working here in a fully customer-facing role, I can see that West Fraser’s commitment to customers and the long-standing relationships they have built are appreciated.  I’ve always believed that customer satisfaction is key and I’m working for a company that makes that a priority!”

So, what keeps Miso busy outside of West Fraser?  “I love spending time on the golf course, feeling the wind in my hair!” he says.
