Mark Lewis-Ranwell, Key Account Manager
It’s been almost five years since Mark Lewis-Ranwell joined West Fraser as a business development manager and he spent his first four years working closely with regional housebuilders and contractors in the South East of England, encouraging them to specify our range of engineered wood panels, driving sales through the merchant customers. Drawing on a pre-West Fraser position with a Belgian pergola manufacturer where Mark worked closely with recommended partners, he was able to put his proven skills to good use when he was promoted to key account manager last year.
“When I applied for the position of business development manager, I was really keen to join the sales team at West Fraser as I knew the company to be a market leader in the wood panel sector with a fantastic customer base. It seemed to me I was joining a well-established company that was growing; it had just completed a huge investment in the OSB mill in Inverness” says Mark.
“I’ve always been customer focused and everything we do at West Fraser is focused around helping our customers achieve their goals. I believe you should always deliver what you promise and that’s definitely the West Fraser ethos! The sales team works hard to grow our business”, Mark says.
But what does Mark do to unwind? “With two children and a puppy, I don’t have much “spare” time! I am a keen cricketer though, and regularly play for my local side”.
